On the back of those development, the club took their new charges on an induction, overseen by a star-studded list of their legends, many of whom had captained the team before.
Present were Tebogo Moloi, Happy Jele, Innocent Maela, Lucky Lekgwati, Edward Motale and Brighton Mhlongo.
Speaking to the club's media, Maela revealed what he told the new Bucs signings.
"To the new players, congratulations," said the former skipper who has just ended his Pirates playing days.
"Your life now will never be the same. This is a big institution. Now you are representing a lot of people.
"Today, we are here at the players' induction, making sure that the guys feel welcome. We are proud of them. They have made it this far, but this is only the beginning.
