Striker Zakhele Lepasa, who recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates has shared some insights into his ambitions ahead of the 25/26 season.
Pirates confirmed that the 28-year-old striker would be leaving the club, with his contract having expired at the end of June.
The two parties are understood to have failed to reach an agreement regarding a new contract, as Lepasa did not travel with the team during the club's pre-season in Spain, despite having been among the players who returned for pre-season at Sturrock Park, a week before the squad left for Spain.

The announcement of Lepasa's exit was made just a day before the media screening of Pirates' Giants docu-series, which was released on Thursday. Lepasa, who was in attendance at the event, would have already been aware of his exit.
Speaking to the media on the night, the Soweto-born star made his intentions clear on the need for playing time, having not played a single minute of the 24/25 season due to injury.
"One thing that would mean a lot to me is seeing myself on the field of play, wearing a football jersey and getting the first minutes of the season," Lepasa said at the premiere of the show.
"I obviously didn’t play for the whole of last season. Previously, I've had an injury like that [previously], but that one occurred in December, and I came back the following December.
"So, I then missed the last part and the first part of the season. I never felt like I was out for the whole season.
"So, this is the first time that this has happened, and it obviously brings a lot of doubt in my life and career, whether I can still try and be back and achieve what I set for myself."

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers will turn their attention to the MTN8, where they take on Polokwane City in the quarter-finals to be played at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
