The man who took Orlando Pirates to the final of the CAF Champions League 11 years ago, Roger De Sa, has backed the Buccaneers to ascend the podium and collect MTN8 gold medals and the accompanying R10 million winners' cheque come Saturday evening.
According to De Sa, Pirates are favourites going into the MTN8 final against a determined Stellenbosch FC outfit at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Tickets for the intriguing affair are sold-out.
While the Soweto giant are looking to win the trophy for a historic third time in a row under Jose Riveiro, Stellies are not to be underestimated.
After all, they are the reigning champions in a different cup competition, the Carling Knockout, which will be launched next week.
The veteran coach says even though the result is too close to call, he believes Pirates will edge the Western Cape-based team.
"Ja, you got to say Orlando Pirates are favourites," De Sa tells KickOff.
"It's a big game. Pirates have improved, they got better and better in the last couple of years, so they will bring the fight to Stellenbosch.
"Stellies are underdogs, but they can always spring a surprise because they've got this fighting spirit and they believe in themselves, and as it's a final, it can go either way.
"But ja, if I was a betting man, I would bet on Pirates."

"But since it's a final, it can go either way; it's always the case with the finals; you will never know.
"My prediction is Pirates are favorites to win, so they might win by an odd goal."
