Teko: New signing can solve Pirates' problem position

Former Bafana Bafana star Teko Modise explains why he believes Orlando Pirates could have finally solved what is proving to be a problem position with their new signing.
The Buccaneers are putting in the final preparations for their third Betway Premiership match this season, where they will host Stellenbosch at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Despite their two losses, Pirates can draw confidence from their spirited showing against Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg semi-final of the MTN8 over the weekend.
On the day, winger Kamogelo Sebelebele rescued the Soweto giants with a late equaliser, outpacing Divine Lunga before beating Ronwen Williams.
Reviewing the match on SuperSport TV, Modise believes the speedy winger, signed from TS Galaxy, may just be the solution to Pirates’ problems at the right back position.
"I mean, he is playing in a position where normally Orlando Pirates are always playing with a lopsided player. It was Saleng, it was Nkota on the right-hand side, who would come inside.
"But against Sundowns, playing with Van Rooyen, there was not much of a synergy playing with Van Rooyen, and when he came out, he (Sebelebele) resorted to the right back position
"I also said, he (Sebelebele) always finds himself in those spaces that he could not when he is high up, and possibly, he might be the new right back, based on the position that he occupies when Orlando Pirates are in possession of the ball.
"Also, what helps him is that [Tshepang] Moremi creates that space because Moremi tucks in, and that frees Sebelebele on the right-hand side. His pace was unbelievable. He was so problematic to deal with."
A win against Stellies could take Pirates as high as 12th on the log table. The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:30.
