Khoza: "PSL Executive Committee discussed the final venue of Nedbank Cup final, but sponsors' preferred venue in Bloemfontein was not available for unforeseen reasons. It will therefore move to Moses Mabhida on May 18." #KickOff pic.twitter.com/3c9mATTv6r
The 2019 Nedbank Cup final is set to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on May 18, a week after the Absa Premiership champions are set to be confirmed, on May 11.
The iconic 2010 FIFA World Cup venue will host a second cup final this season, after earlier staging the MTN8 final between SuperSport United and Cape Town City in September last year.
This will also be a fourth Nedbank Cup final the venue will host in the last seven editions of the tournament, with the last having been between SuperSport and Orlando Pirates in 2017.
Meanwhile, the annual PSL Awards ceremony will also take place for the first time ever at Durban's International Convention Centre a day later, on May 19.
