The final spots for the round of 32 were completed over the past two weeks, with eight National First Division sides and eight SAFA amateur teams joining the 16 Absa Premiership sides.
Free State Stars are the reigning champions after they defeated Maritzburg United in last season's final at the Cape Town Stadium.
One of the exciting ties in the round will see Cape Town City host former champions SuperSport United, who are looking for their third title in four seasons.
