Black Leopards goalkeeper King Ndlovu delights at teammates work rate

Leopards progressed to the Nedbank Cup Last 16 after defeating the Buccaneers 5-4 penalty in a shoot-out on Saturday evening.

“I would like to thank the Lord above who made everything possible. I think we have a very strong team," Ndlovu told SuperSport TV.

“We have players who are willing to work for each other and I think we gave a good shift today against a very strong Orlando Pirates team.

Given their offensive nature right from the front, Ndlovu admits the difficulty that came their way in handling the Sea Robbers who threw everything forward for the win at times.

“We also play on the front-foot, we not a team that stays back. It was very difficult to be pinned back by Orlando Pirates, but they are very good side they were forcing us to pin back," he added.

“But we kept on going. The stamina was there. The strength and belief from all these people, I mean this is fantastic to play with such a great crowd I mean it’s wonderful."
