“It is a new season. Things can change and I hope everything goes well this season,” says 'Tight'. “We have a good team. It is just that last season we were unfortunate and we lost games that we shouldn’t have lost, but I think we have learnt from that.
"When we get opportunities we should score, defend well and everything will go well. It has been two seasons without anything so I think everyone needs to [be hungry], especially knowing that this is a team of winners."
Without any trophy in all his eight years playing in the PSL, the 29-year-old attacker is not selective of what comes his way in terms of winners’ medals.
The Maize Cup was a start and now the Carling Cup presents another opportunity to celebrate with a medal in hand, which he believes will elevate the team to a "good space" before the competitive games get underway.
