Geofrey Massa not available for Celtic

Celtic host Kaizer Chiefs at the Free State Stadium on Sunday and will have to do so without their Ugandan striker, who still awaits his work permit.

Massa joined Phunya Sele Sele at the beginning of this season after a stand-out campaign, in which he scored eight goals in all competitions, for the University if Pretoria.

Celtic team manager John Maduka has confirmed that Massa will not be available for today's clash but remains hopeful they will recieve it next week.

"That doesn't mean we don't need him, we hope he gets it before the end of nextweek. At the end of the day there's a procedure we must go through."

However, coach Clinton Larsen will be boosted by the availability of former Orlando Pirates striker Helder Pelembe, who received his work permit this week.

Kick-off between Celtic and Chiefs is set for 15h00.
