Stars knocked Chiefs out of the Nedbank Cup semi-finals in April last term, a result which triggered a fan rampage at Moses Mabhida Stadium and the hasty resignation of coach Steve Komphela following three trophyless years at Naturena.
Eymael is well aware much has happened since that eventful encounter, with Amakhosi now under the tutelage of ex-Ea Lla Koto mentor Giovanni Solinas amongst other changes.
"We have to forget about the Nedbank Cup," Eymael tells KickOff.com.
"We'll have to focus game by game, one game at a time. Yes, another competition the MTN8. They'll be motivated to try to go through in the MTN8, and us also we'll be motivated to try to go through the MTN8 in the semi-final.
"Chiefs is a big team, we have to show them respect but we don't have to respect them too much because when you enter on the pitch it's already 50/50. But I'm sure that my guys will be motivated like the guys of Chiefs will be motivated. For the rest only God knows what will happen."
Former Glamour Boys winger William Twala is expected to make his debut for the visitors in the match.
