Pelembe, a loan signing from Amakhosi's arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, unleashed a 30-yard screamer in a 1-1 draw with Chiefs in the MTN8 semi-finals on Sunday afternoon.
Larsen said: "It was Pelembe's first game for the club and he capped it off with a wonderful goal."
Larsen was also pleased with the efforts of another debutant and Bucs loanee Mthokozisi Dube, fellow fullback Tumelo Mogape, as well as substitute Keagan Buchanan. Buchanan came on for new signing Lantshene Phalane 30 minutes into the first leg tie at Free State Stadium.
"We made an early change, as we were a bit loose in midfield. Tactically we weren't getting what we needed from Phalane. It wasn't through a lack of effort, he is still trying to find his place in a new team.
"Once Buchanan came in he knew how to control the pace of the game.
"Dube and Mogape also worked tirelessly down the flanks for us," Larsen added.
