Seanego, who played for Royal Eagles in the GladAfrica Championship last season, has already started training with Rangers with the view to signing a deal.
The 27-year-old who is affectionately known as 'Shakes' was on the books of Kaizer Chiefs during his youth days before moving to Pirates in 2013.
Zambian scout Rex Chanda Jnr has confirmed Seanego's move to Zambia and is hopeful of finalising his contract with Rangers soon.
"I am thankful to Forest Rangers for the opportunity they afforded me to recommend Maselaelo Seanego to the club," Chanda Jnr tells snl24.com/kickoff from Lusaka.
"The player has already started training with the club. We couldn't meet with the club because they were playing this weekend and we are hopeful to finalise the deal this week."
