FUSA secretary Taelo Motloung has criticised the Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit for 'frustrating' players who were previously in their emply.

KickOff.com's attempts to reach Leruma chairman Lerumo Thobejane by phone were unsuccessful, despite multiple calls and a text message left for him.
"Leruma has faced numerous issues from the start. Saziso Magawana from Durban City is not the only player they have tried to frustrate. Sibusiso Kumalo at Pretoria Callies is also affected, as they claim not to have issued him with a clearance," says Motloung.
"There is also Tshepo Skhosana from Highbury FC, whom Leruma claim is still their player. All these players had contracts with Marumo Gallants.
"When Gallants sold their status, Kumalo's contract was nearing its end, while Skhosana still had one season left. They were told to leave since Gallants no longer required their services.
"Initially, they were informed that they would be going for trials at Leruma, especially Kumalo, whose contract had expired. Once they arrived, Leruma informed them that they were on trial and would be assessed.
"After a month, they were told they would not be signed," he added.
Motloung, himself a former pro footballer, says Skhosana had a season remaining on his contract but was only offered a one-month settlement.

"Kumalo's clearance was issued by Gallants because his contract had already ended. As for Skhosana, he received a clearance, signed by the chairman, Lerumo. He has his clearance as we speak.
"In Magawana's case, how could Gallants issue him a clearance if he is not their player? They are simply trying to confuse the relegation and promotion process within the Motsepe Foundation Championship."
