Manuel Kambala has penned a one-year deal with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Magesi after a move to Royal AM fell through, KickOff understands.
The 31-year-old was aiming for a return to DStv Premiership having gone under assessment at TS Galaxy before beginning talks with Royal AM over a possible switch to the KwaZulu-Natal-based side.

Those talks came to a complete stand-still as FIFA slapped Thwihli Thwahla with a ban from making transfers over monies allegedly owed to former striker Samir Nurkovic.
Kambala was also linked with a move to Polokwane City, but the player confirmed to KickOff that no official talks took place with the newly-promoted side.
The Mozambican international has since resumed training and put pen to paper with his former side Magesi, who had already tabled a one-year offer when his final deal became to an end last season.
Kambala last played in the Premiership with Baroka in the 21/22 season when the Limpopo outfit finished bottom of the log table and were subsequently relegated.

Premiership followers will likely remember Kambala for his equalising goal against Kaizer Chiefs in 2020 that effectively snatched the league title from the grip of Amakhosi, earning him the nicknames 'Lord Kambala' and 'Chiefs slayer' among opposition supporters.
Meanwhile, Royal AM claims their ban is temporarily suspended after appealing taking to the CAS to appeal the decision that remains unconfirmed.
