'Cosmos is a university of football'

Cosmos were relegated to the ABC Motsepe League after spending much of the campaign rock bottom of the GladAfrica Championship standings.

"When it comes to Cosmos it's difficult to comment, to be honest," Tlemo tells KickOff.

"This is our team man, it raised us.

"So seeing it hitting rock bottom like this pains us.

"I'm just hoping wherever he is Jomo has a plan because at this stage I don't think he's happy to be relegated.

"I cannot say there were clear warning signs as there was a time when the team was among the log leaders.

"Knowing Jomo, let's be honest he's been doing very well even though some of the players that are currently there didn't put their foot down you know.

"That team is a big team if you can think of how many players they have produced.

"In our generation, we always gave our best at Cosmos because we were playing for our idol bra J.

"Getting that opportunity to rub shoulders with him made us want to work even harder.

"Cosmos were a University of Football here in South Africa, but I'm sure Bra J has another plan he's going to come up with.

"He knows a lot when it comes to identifying football talent, so he is still here, it's not like South Africa has lost everything though.

"Being relegated will not make him quit football."
