According to one of the club's shareholders Roger de Sa, there is a buyer from Limpopo who will be taking over the club's status in the National First Division from next season.
The Cape Town-based club, formerly known as Platinum Stars, finished seventh on the log table last season but will now change ownership and likely be renamed.
De Sa was part of the consortium that bought Dikwena, where he had been head coach, from the Royal Bafokeng nation back in 2018 and subsequently renamed and relocated the club from Rustenburg to the Mother City.
It was reported by Soccer Laduma that prominent Limpopo businessman Robinson Ramaite is now set to take over the club, with De Sa reticent over the deal.
"Yes, maybe by 12 today," replied the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper when asked if the club will be indeed be sold.
De Sa further confirmed that the buyers are from Venda, where the team will likely be based from the 2021/22 season.
Ramaite is said to be the owner of ABC Motsepe League outfit Venda Football Academy and previously attempted to purchase the status of Cape Town All-Stars.
