There has been a big update provided on Jody February, who has been living in the goalkeeping shadows of Ronwen Williams and Denis Onyango at Mamelodi Sundowns.
With Williams having nailed down a spot as Sundowns' number one goalkeeper, and Onyango as a firm back-up, as well as Reyaad Pieterse and Sanele Tshabalala in the picture, it makes things complicated for February.

Hence, every off-season, the 29-year-old is linked with a possible exit.
The latest update from his representatives the future of former national U23 international at the Tshwane giants is secure.
February's contract with the club is set to expire on June 30.
His agent, Mike Makaab of ProSport International, says the player was left behind by Sundowns when they traveled to the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States due to an injury he sustained just before their departure.
Since joining from Ajax Cape Town in 2019, February has won two league titles and an MTN8 trophy.

However, he made only seven appearances in 2024/25, conceding six goals and recording three clean sheets.
"No, Jody February is not leaving Sundowns; the club has exercised the option. Jody was injured just prior to the Club World Cup, suffering a meniscus injury, but he is now undergoing rehabilitation after his operation," Makaab tells KickOff.
