Sundowns’ latest signing arrives

Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their latest defensive signing following Rushine De Reuck's move to link up with Maccabi Petah Tikva in Israel.

The Tshwane giants' January transfer window activity has included Lesiba Nku moving to Stellenbosch FC after the move appeared to have fallen off at some stage.

Meanwhile, the rumour mill also has it that Thembinkosi Lorch is headed to Wydad Casablanca in Morocco, where he is set for a reunion with Rulani Mokwena.

Sundowns have also roped in Keanu Cupido from Cape Town City, who comes highly rated for his ball-playing abilities on top of what he offers as a no-nonsense central defender.

Now, the latest news coming from Chloorkop is that Argentinian centre-back Lucas Suarez has signed on the dotted line to begin life on the southernmost tip of Africa.

He joins on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old comes in from CA Talleres and will have a huge role to play at the Tshwane giants, who are navigating different competitions.
