Veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango will stay put at Mamelodi Sundowns after adding the 11th league title of his glorious career in South Africa.
Onyango is the most successful footballer to ever play in South Africa.

With his latest extension, he will stay put at the club until his 40th birthday in May next year. .
The Ugandan has now played his club football in South Africa since 2006 and is unmatched in terms of success.
Beyond the 11 league titles, Onyango has won the CAF Champions League, CAF Super Cup, African Football League, Nedbank Cup (thrice), Telkom Knockout (twice) and MTN8, pushing his total silverware collection to 20.

Sundowns have activated the one-year option on his contract that will keep him as a back-up to Ronwen Williams while the club stabilises their next solid second choice.
Onyango has been on the books of Sundowns since 2011 having arrived while awaiting the issuing of his South African permanent residence that has allowed him to play as a 'local' for all his time at the club.
