The month of May will come with great significance for Denis Onyango as he takes aim at double celebrations at Mamelodi Sundowns.
With Sundowns within 10 points of landing the league title, it will be number 12 for Onyango, pushing him further ahead in being the most successful footballer in the history of the domestic league.

The veteran has won 11 league titles throughout his career in South Africa, which started at SuperSport United, where he won three in a row.
He has since won eight at Sundowns, putting no questions to his standing as a legend in the domestic game.

Onyango is also holding the position of being the most successful footballer to ever play in South Africa as he moves towards his 40th birthday in May.

Onyango will end the season with his contract also going up at the end of June.
While he is now behind Ronwen Williams, the veteran keeper has played 11 games this season.

Another highlight for Onyango this month is that he will turn 40 still contracted and playing.
His birthday is on May 15, by which time Sundowns might have already wrapped up their business in the league.
