Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso insists Peter Shalulile has a role to play in the team despite being on the bench against Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday night.
The Brazilians and Chiefs played to a goalless draw at a packed FNB Stadium, with both sides extending their unbeaten records in the Betway Premiership.

Shalulile, however, was not given any minutes on the night, despite boasting a record of 10 goals in 17 appearances against Chiefs in his career.
Cardoso claims the Namibian remains an integral part of the squad but alluded that the type of game might not have been right for the striker.
“Peter will have opportunities for sure, the question is what kind of game you are playing and depending on the kind of game we are playing. Peter will be used for sure," Cardoso told SuperSport TV.
"Peter is a player that in short spaces he is fantastic when the team is high to play short spaces, play in the box, he knows very well how to read the game.
"So, that is the Peter we going to use, Peter and everybody in this group is very valuable for us, we don’t reject no one and we just going to manage the right player, moment and occasion."
