Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi was left frustrated following their goalless draw against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday night.
The stalemate ended the club’s perfect start to the Betway Premiership season, but left the team in second place after four rounds.
Nabi, who was back on the touchline for the first time season, regrets that they were not able to claim the full haul of points but nonetheless looks forward to the future.

“It’s true, it’s like kind of frustration because we believed that we could’ve got the three points, but as well there was a good team in front of us. We have a little bit regret of not getting the three points today but we going to work and look for the future,” Nabi told SuperSport TV.
“I would say that in the first half we struggled a little bit, but we wanted as well to leave the possession to the opponents because we know that it’s not a team that finishes well this game.
“But in the second half as well with the tactical adjustment in the midfield, it allowed us to be a little bit higher and press more higher and to stay on the front-foot. We had opportunities but unfortunately, we couldn’t convert them,” he added.
With the club still unbeaten after four matches, the work isn’t done but the prospects in light of the solid start to the campaign paints a good picture.
“It’s true that we haven’t lost yet, but we believe that today we could’ve got more but we are pretty sure that we are on the good direction and going to work more and be better for the next game,” Nabi said.
