Mamelodi Sundowns legend Joel 'Fire' Masilela wants head coach Miguel Cardoso gone at the club following his decision to bench Themba Zwane in Sunday's final.
The newly crowned Premier Soccer League champions suffered a 2-1 defeat to Pyramids FC in the second leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final that was played in Egypt.

Masilela has accused Cardoso of denying the Brazilians their second Champions League title by snubbing Zwane.
"It seem It has become a challenge to the coach in deciding who should he start with between Lucas Ribeiro, Themba Zwane, Jayden Adams, and Tashreeq Matthews," Masilela tells KickOff.com.
"Themba has been out for quite some time because of injury, and because of the that the coach is still on that thing of 'do not fix it if it ain't broken'.
"Forgetting that Themba is one of the most influential players at Sundowns. Themba Zwane is Sundowns. He can carry the load, he makes things happen. He is like the Lionel Messi of the team. And most of all he's got all the Champions League experience.
"You can’t leave Themba Zwane and Peter Shalulile outside and go and play a Champions League final. Lebo Mothiba is a player you can always juggle around with yes, but do not throw him into the deep end.
"Cardoso he's got a team and players that can win everything, but unfortunately this team is too much a burden for him. The gem is there, but he is struggling to put cherry on top.
"You can go and get any coach to come and coach Sundowns he will win games, the cream is there. It's just rest on the coach to combine it. You can always play around with the Sundowns squad.

"What I've noticed with our coach is, he don't know how to gamble. I have watch some of his games, he's always defensive, he's a big fan of route 1 football, I noticed him in his games while still at Esperance. He likes aerial balls.
"Yesterday's game we could have won it if the coach got his combinations right. I don't see him staying long at Sundowns. He must just leave. He is failing. If you can't win titles coaching a team like Sundowns then it means you can't coach.
"We've beaten teams who are more stronger than Pyramids on our way to the final. Some of them we were lucky to beat. We didn't win convincingly."
