With 55 points in the bag from 21 games and a lead of 19 points over second placed SuperSport United, Sundowns now need nine points from the remaining nine games provided Matsatsantsa win all their games.

SuperSport host Golden Arrows later this evening.
Sundowns last played a league game a month ago against Orlando Pirates when they won 1-0 away and since then have played two Nedbank Cup games and three in the CAF Champions League.
The 55 points that Sundowns have already has previously been enough to win the league with SuperSport needing 54 in the 2007/08 and 55 the following season.
In a season in which they have already beaten every opponent in the league including doing the double on both Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates, Sundowns will now be playing to break the highest points of 71 (2015/16) in a 16 team PSL league.
The maximum that Sundowns can reach is 82 if they win all their remaining games which will mean they will have dropped only eight points this season with TS Galaxy, SuperSport, and Sekhukhune the three that have taken points in games against the champions.
Sundowns have won their last 15 games banking all the 45 points available.
Depending on the order of results in SuperSport's next two games against Arrows and Pirates, Sundowns could wrap the title this month with another seven games to play.
