BREAKING: Maduka back in the Betway Prem

Former Royal AM and Maritzburg United head coach John Maduka has landed a new role with an ambitious Betway Premiership club.

Additionally, the KZN outfit was banned by FIFA from registering players over monies allegedly owed to several players, most notably Samir Nurkovic.

The resulting chaos saw the PSL effectively remove them from the league.

Dikwena tša Meetsego will enter the new season as Carling Knockout defending champions having beaten both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns en route to the incredible achievement in their first top-flight campaign.

The new man in charge will be aiming to improve on whatever was achieved last term but will have to do so without the services of at least 10 players who have been released.

Among them are Ntsako 'Neverdie' Makhubela, Gift Motupa, and Given Mashikinya.

Meanwhile, key striker Wonderboy Makhubu has also returned to Sekhukhune United following the end of his loan spell.
