Highly sought-after Stellenbosch FC midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa has addressed reports linking him to a move to one of the Soweto giants.

Time is running out in the South African transfer market which closes this Friday and the race for Ox's signature has been heating up with Kaizer Chiefs said to be leading the race, after reportedly submitting an R8 million bid.

Mthethwa told Gagasi FM Sports that he's flattered by the interest from both Chiefs and Pirates but admits that its up to the clubs involved to find an agreement.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "'That would make me happy' - Mthethwa addresses Chiefs, Pirates links" story:

"As good as he is, he won't get game time at Pirates. So, if he wants to play regularly he must sign for Chiefs," says Ghost1.

"No trophies in Naturena boy. Go to Pirates, they do get Trophies now and then," says Skyvodka.

"Chiefs must push hard for this guy's signature. Sithebe can go the opposite direction," says Dr Mthimkhulu.

"Kahle kahle, this guy is suggestively signed by media," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.

"We have heard in media about SuperSport players even before being unveiled at Sundowns. We heard about Mbule, Maseko, Mokoena and Ronwen way before they went to Sundowns in the media," replies Rio Da Khosi.

Former Kaizer Chiefs head of development and assistant coach Farouk Khan has strongly urged the Glamour Boys to snap up defender Luke Fleurs.

Fleurs has been spotted training at Naturena with hopes of landing a permanent deal with Amakhosi, after surprisingly parting ways with SuperSport United.

Khan rates the 23-year-old defender as a good prospect in the making and feels that they shouldn't hesitate to sign him.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "'Chiefs shouldn't hesitate to sign Fleurs'" story:

"What happened at SSU for them to mutually terminate? What happened to AJ15 at his former employer, that made things go the way they did towards the end of that relationship?" asks Danito 4 Life.

"Great player, but why did SS terminate his contract?" asks 999@MKM.

"However the boy might hesitate to sign for KC since there is a 10-year trophy drought at Naturena," says Skyvodka.

"Yeah neh, so now players sign to earn 'trophies' and not 'salaries'?" claps back Danito 4 Life.

"I think they are just testing him. This is the player they wanted to sign last season, then he went on to sign a new contract with SSU, while Chiefs were negotiating with them.

"Then soon after that, he wanted out of SSU within a year after renewing," says siyaz.

"Sounds very much like the Gaston Sirino saga this one," says Danito 4 Life.

"They wanted him while he was still contracted to SuperSport, and SuperSport forestalled them by signing a new contract. It remains to be seen whether Chiefs was seeing the right thing in the player," says matemane.

"Farouk is correct on this one. I wonder how they are assessing a player they wanted to sign last season already. Media lies again here. We want to see the games now, no more talking. Sign Luke period!" says khothakhosi.

"They will monitor him until Jesus christ comes back," says Saavedra.

"Chiefs are doing what they do best," says Zam d king buccaneer.
