Ronwen Williams has tightened his grip on the number one jersey at Mamelodi Sundowns, keeping 10 clean sheets in the 14 games he's played so far this season, conceding only four goals.
Williams following up a stellar debut season at Masandawana that included his first league title, a record-number of clean sheets (18) and 22 in all competitions.
His incredible penalty save in the African Super League against Petro de Luanda highlighted his importance to Rulani Mokwena's side, having last conceded a goal a month ago against Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 semi-finals.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Williams' colossal influence at Sundowns" story:
"I doubted his signing but he has been superb so far and his ability to play from the back is what pleases me the most. He is always been a great shot stopper, I just doubted his cross handling ability having been spoiled by Onyango of course, but he has improved in that regard as well.
"I trust him now and I'm 100% behind him. Please win us one of these African competitions this season," says Minwana Phezulu.
"He came at the right time," says serogwe9510.
"If you ask Chiefs supporters who is the best goalkeeper, they will vote for Khune," says Saavedra.
"Good goalkeeper indeed, but we don't have cover for him. That Pieterse guy will always concede," says tshepolegodi.za.
"He was good at SuperSport but he's great now and enjoying himself, confidence galore," says 999@MKM.
"At Sundowns, a player can only reach their full potential. Ntseki's people were saying it's career suicide," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Pitbull.
"This is what conquering is all about. Sundowns remain the best football institution. It is everyone's dream to be part of the team. We choose with our heart but fail our hearts by not accepting other people's choices when it works for them," says lombosngoape.
"He was called 'mbobo vuleka' at some point," says Shikabala.
"I fully remember and now the same people are praising him, that's Mzansi people for you," says Zam d king buccaneer.

Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has hit back at critics over Orlando Pirates' form in the league, having won just two of their first six matches in the DStv Premiership so far.
The Buccaneers were held to their second draw of the season after Tueday's 0-0 result in Durban against AmaZulu, result that leaves them in 13th place on the league table.
Pirates' early season league form has raised question over whether they're capable of challenging Sundowns for the league this season, with Riveiro insisting it's too early to judge and calls for patience.
Riveiro did admit that they're not happy with their recent results but does feel they're performing better than what the league table shows at the moment.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Riveiro hits back at critics over Pirates' league form" story:
"Bafethu, building a team to win the league might take some time than we expect, so when it comes to that, we may need to be a little bit patient with coach.
"They are playing good but not creating enough scoring opportunities, but they will come," says nelsonmsimango1976.
"Mickey Mouse of a coach," says Shikabala.
"Even the cup that he won, it was just because of luck. This Pirates team is not make sure..." says mogagabetshiamo14.
"Coach, you are starting to disrespect us, we're happy to be winning cups and league is not your thing. Please don't push us to spend more time with our neighbour's suppers, we might end up learning one or two tricks.
"Do you expect Downs to lose ten games and draw ten this season for you to catch up?" asks @Normzm who added:
"With all due respect to the coach, you are not a league-winning material and we must absorb that to have our blood pressure kept under control. It is so frustrating at times to watch a team with such good players playing defensive while the opposition sits back.
"The way Amazulu were playing on Tuesday, you could have played with 3 strikers, if you were a good coach. Erasmus as a 10, with Makgopa and Nga up front. You take too long to replace. We already knew that second half, you will take out one striker and congest the midfield."
