Put aside the fact that in 38 games across all competitions last season, he had 22 clean sheets.
The 31-year-old has not only tightened his grip on that number one jersey at Sundowns but proving beyond any doubt why he is also miles ahead as the preferred choice for Bafana Bafana.
This season, Williams has kept 10 clean sheets in the 14 games that he has played and has only conceded just four goals.
The last time that the Bafana Bafana keeper was beaten was a month ago in the MTN8 semi-final victory over Kaizer Chiefs when Ashley du Preez converted from the spot.
Before then it was Edson Castillo's header that went past him into the nets in the first leg.

Sekhukhune United's Jamie Webber is the only other player that has beaten Williams this season with Du Preez having scored the other goal that the man from Gqeberha conceded.
Moroka Swallows, Orlando Pirates (twice), Golden Arrows, Chippa United, Polokwane City, Bumamuru (Burundi), and Petro de Luanda (Angola) have all failed to find a way past Williams this season.
