Among his efforts was an audacious long-range strike from his own half, where he nearly caught City goalkeeper Ederson off his line.
His brilliant piece of skill to sit down City defender Vitor Reis before squaring the ball to Cassius Mailula is certain to feature in numerous highlight reels.
Another moment destined for future compilations saw Lorch expertly juggle the ball over both Reis and Rico Lewis.
The Mamelodi Sundowns loanee also received the second-highest performance rating in the match, just behind man-of-the-match Phil Foden.
According to Sofascore, Lorch was rated 7.8, just shy of Foden’s 8.7 rating.
