While he was away on national duty, his club Kaizer Chiefs ended their decade-long trophy drought by narrowly defeating Orlando Pirates to lift the 2025 Nedbank Cup title.
Although Vilakazi wasn’t on the pitch for the final in Durban, Chiefs recognized his contributions throughout the season and ensured he received his winner’s medal upon return.
Celebrating his achievements, Vilakazi was recently seen hanging out with a South African popular DJ, Karabo Mokgara, known in the music industry as DJ Karri.

The duo took to Instagram to share photos of their link-up, with Vilakazi gifting Karri an official Kaizer Chiefs T-shirt, a gesture that clearly meant a lot to the DJ.
In response to Vilakazi's gift, Karri said: "Special gift to Karri Nation, it's so sad that it does not fit me, but I am going to frame it."
The celebration marks a high point in what has been a dream season for the young Amakhosi attacker, whose talent continues to turn heads. With silverware now in hand, Vilakazi is undoubtedly one for the future.
