Fans may have noticed that some Nike-sponsored Premier League clubs have the brand's Swoosh logo facing upwards on their new third kits, here's why that is now the case!
The story
Nike took a bold step when it comes to their kits this season, as they introduced a vertical Swoosh sign on their third-kits for Premier League clubs.
Fans may have noted that both Chelsea and Liverpool's jersey have the vertical Nike logo, and this innovative design was made for a particular reason.

The American brand revealed that the re-positioning of their logo was because of their 'Together We Rise' campaign.
According to GiveMeSport, Nike said: "Released as part of the Nike 'Together We Rise' collection across the brand's club football estate, the third kit celebrates the women's game and its acceleration in world sport.
"It is uniquely represented through a distinct vertical double Swoosh, which is across the jersey, shorts and matching socks. The iconic Swoosh denotes the wing of the Greek goddess Nike, and symbolises speed, movement, power and motivation. This new detail will be worn by both the men's and women's teams."

Some renowned players have also given the move a nod, with Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson issuing a positive review of his club's 2024/25 third-kit.
Robertson said: "I really like it; I like the colour and the detail on the shirt, especially with the Swoosh going up, which is a bit different. It's signifying the rise of the women's game and we're a big part of it to try to help that."
