Before that, South African star Lyle Foster hosted a five-a-side football tournament with a grand prize of R15 000 to support aspiring players.

Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has now followed this admirable trend by purchasing 50 tricycles for his local community in Rivers State, Nigeria, aiming to empower local youth.

The tricycle, commonly referred to as a "Tak Tak", is a three-wheeled vehicle widely used for transporting people and goods across many African countries and in India.

“I came from this community, and I know what it means to struggle. This is my little way of giving hope and creating opportunity for our youths,” Nwabali said during the presentation ceremony, according to The Nigeria Voice.

“This is what true role models do,” one local leader added.

“Stanley has shown he is not only a great goalkeeper but also a man with a big heart.”
