Football legend Mlungisi 'Professor' Ngubane believes that Kaizer Chiefs will regret not strengthening their goalkeeping department.
Ngubane insists that the Chiefs coaching staff should prioritize signing a strong goalkeeper and not be deceived by the 0-0 full-time score against the Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko in Saturday's Toyota Cup at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Chiefs ultimately lost the pre-season match in the penalty shoot-out.

The Soweto giants, coached by Nasreddine Nabi, currently have Brandon Petersen, Bruce Bvuma and Rwanda international Fiacre Ntwari as recognised goalkeepers.
However, none have demonstrated consistent performances so far.
"Kaizer Chiefs has not changed at all. If they continue to rely on the two goalkeepers, Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen, then nothing has truly improved," Ngubane told KickOff.
"It's crucial for Kaizer Chiefs to acquire a new goalkeeper. On Saturday, they managed to keep a clean sheet because they were up against a team that struggles to score goals.
"While the Asante Kotoko team is not weak, it is filled with young players; I believe they are all under 23 years old.

"I observed this closely during my time at Moses Mabhida Stadium, and I could tell their youth was evident.
"Since it is still pre-season, Chiefs have time to find a good goalkeeper. A solid goalkeeper instills confidence in the defenders."
