Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of former Cape Town Spurs attacker Asanele Velebayi.
The 22-year-old was officially declare a free agent by the National Soccer League (NSL) Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) following Spurs' relegation to the ABC Motsepe League.

Velebyi has put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract with the Soweto giants.
“We are happy to finally have Asanele with us,” says Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr, as per the club's official website.
“He is a great addition, and we believe he will add significant value because he is a perfect fit for our game model and the culture we have here at the Club.”
Velebayi becomes the latest player to join Chiefs in this transfer window following the arrivals of Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett, Paseko Mako, Thabiso Monyane and Nkanyiso Shinga.
