Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Bongani Sam turned heads with his bold fashion choice and heartfelt message of gratitude to God following his departure from the club.
The Story
Sam, who joined the Glamour Boys from Orlando Pirates in July 2024, was released without making a single appearance for the team.

The 28-year-old left-back spent the entire 2024/25 season sidelined by injury and was unable to feature in any official matches under coach Nasreddine Nabi.
Off the pitch, Sam is well-known for his flair and fashion sense, and he didn’t disappoint. The former Bloemfontein Celtic player was recently seen posing in what appears to be his home, rocking a striking Puma two-piece outfit.
He took to social media to share the stylish snaps along with a heartfelt caption expressing his gratitude to God: "I can’t explain how I got past everything I have faced. Take it from me, God is good,” Sam wrote on Instagram.

Now a free agent, Sam is eligible to sign with any club of his choice, even outside the transfer window. As he continues his recovery, he will be hoping for a fresh start and a chance to reignite his career.
