Kaizer Chiefs have been advised to stick with Nasreddine Nabi no matter what happens in the Nedbank Cup final against rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday afternoon, with the quality at his disposal questioned.
Nabi has been under the cosh in his first season at Chiefs, understandably so for the most-supported club in South Africa and a trophy drought that has endured for a decade.
To his credit, the 59-year-old has has led the side to their first cup final in six years, while qualification for next season's CAF Confederation Cup has been secured.

Amakhosi are set to wrestle Pirates for the Nedbank Cup trophy at Moses Mabhida Stadium in a little more than two hours time (at the time of publishing).
"Nabi showed a lot of promise in his first season, although there wasn't much on the table initially. When he started, the team displayed considerable energy," says Marks Maponyane.
"When they returned from Turkey, we thought something good was developing, but whatever is being cooked is not quite ready yet. It feels like it's an undercooked oxtail... or maybe mogodu [laughs].
"It shouldn’t take this long. You can tell that they were showing a lot of energy, but now they seem aimless. You can’t be aimless when you’ve been showcasing such energy. Now, suddenly, we don’t know what they are trying to achieve.
"Week after week, they have visible flaws. The goalkeeping department has been particularly problematic, as they have used three different goalkeepers in one season, yet there has been no improvement, with all of them conceding consistently," added the ex-marksman.
'Go-Man-Go', however, feels the blame can't be entirely laid on the door of the goalkeepers, as conceding goals is a sign of a weak defence.

"They should retain the coach. I believe they should keep him because the constant cycle of changing coaches doesn't bring any improvement. It's essential to assess the players at your disposal. You can’t keep changing coaches if you don't have the right material to win anything."
