GONE: Chiefs announce another departure

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of another first team player.

The club have announced that defender Edmilson Dove will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the month.

Statement:

Kaizer Chiefs and defender Edmilson Dove will part ways when his contract expires at the end of June.

The Mozambican international, who joined Amakhosi in August 2022 after spending six months with UD Songo in Mozambique, has been an integral part of the team.

During his three seasons with the Glamour Boys, he played a total of 56 official matches, showcasing his talent and dedication on the field as a left-back and a centre-back. As a leader, he wore the captain’s armband on a few occasions and also contributed with two goals for Chiefs.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Edmilson for his contributions to the Club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
