Inacio Miguel believes the level of football in the PSL is better than where he has played in Europe before and is part of the reason why South Africa has been exporting lesser players in recent years.
Miguel played in Portugal where he was born and in Romania and Latvia before finding his way to Africa where he played in Angola before arriving at Kaizer Chiefs.

"The level of the PSL and the level of South Africa is high so there are many questions that the players will ask sometimes themselves about whether it is worthy to go there," explains Miguel when asked about why South African players are opting to remain at home.
Miguel has Thabo Cele, Bradley Cross, Njabulo Blom, Lehlogonolo Matlou, and Ranga Chivaviro amongst teammates who have been abroad and back.
"How is the level in some of those (European) countries?
"If you tell me about the first division in England and Spain there is no doubt that you must go.
"The level of football in South Africa is much higher than a lot of divisions in Europe where I have played.
"So, the question of them going out or not is because the level in South Africa is really interesting and balanced.
"You can see even this season there was no easy games.
"In terms of the money, I don’t know about the contracts of the players here so I cannot talk about that. ‘
"What I can say is that normally when you quit South Africa to go to Europe you don’t search for money, you search for the project and being viewed by other teams.
"For example, I played in Europa League and my goal when moving from Portugal was to play international competitions which I did.

"That was my focus, and it was never about the money because I needed to prove that I can play in these competitions.
"That was my focus, and I don’t know about the South Africans but if they are young, they have to think about the process and not about the money," details Miguel.
