With opinion somewhat divided on new Kaizer Chiefs signing Tashreeq Morris, Bafana Bafana legend and football analyst Doctor Khumalo has issued his honest assessment.
Chiefs have finalised a swap deal with SuperSport United that will see Morris join the club, while speedy winger-cum-striker Christian Saile goes the other way.

Speaking on SABC Sport's SoccerZone, the man nicknamed '16V' during his illustrious playing career pleaded with supporters to offer a grace period to the former Sekhukhune United front-man.
"Then we talk Morris. I think he's played nine games, scored two goals for SuperSport and he has a red card as we speak because in his last game, he got a red card.
"I'd like to believe we don't have to be harsh or look at the journey of the boy and think he might not make it.
"There are so many players at other teams. Like [Thalente[ Mbatha, for example, who comes from SuperSport and there he is, now in the national team.
"I like Morris because he is an outright striker. He makes things simple. He doesn't complicate things and [he will succeed] only if they also give him what we call suppliers.
"If you don't have those people, what's the use of getting striker?" says Khumalo.

Morris is understood to have undergone a medical at Naturena last week and is expected to be unveiled as the team's first signing of the January transfer window.
