Knox Mutizwa’s case at Golden Arrows remains hanging with preparations already in motion for the start of the 2025/26 season.
Mutizwa fell out of favour with Arrows head coach Manqoba Mngqithi late last season in what then led to reports that he had been fired by the club.

Mngqithi then only stated that he has no desire to make public the club’s dirty linen in the matter relating to Mutizwa.
"We always prefer to keep our dirty linen within the house," said Mngqithi when asked about the Zimbabwean striker towards the end of last season.
It has since been established that Mutizwa still has a running contract at the club.
This means for him to leave, there will have to be an agreement to part ways, which will pave way for him to move on as a free agent.
Those discussions are expected to happen in the next few weeks with Mutizwa evidently not in Mngqithi’s plans for the new season.
The 31-year-old has long-standing admiration from Kaizer Chiefs – a club he has repeatedly punished through the years with 10 goals/assists to his name against the Soweto giants.
Mutizwa has been at Arrows since January 2017 having initially arrived on loan from Bidvest Wits, who signed him from his hometown club Highlanders.
Such has been the journey that Mutizwa has had at Arrows that he has had opportunities to leave but remained at the club.
