Zinedine Zidane is the new face of Mango Man

The French World Cup and Balon d’Or winner joins a group of high profile sportsmen who have fronted for Mango Man after being revealed as the brand’s main man for 2015.

Mango have released images featuring the current Real Madrid Castilla coach looking dapper in floral prints, patchwork fabrics, knitwear, bomber and biker jackets, cropped trousers, all in black, white, grey and khaki colours.

Zidane’s post-retirement foray into fashion is a departure from his once reserved demeanour off the field during his playing days. This latest deal is sure to thrust him into the media limelight, which is something he feels comfortable with.

“I have lived in Spain for a long time, so I know Mango well. When they asked me to be the face of the collection I accepted because I love the idea of people being able to wear quality fashion at very competitive prices,” he said.

Zidane has previously worked with fashion brands Y-3 and Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2011 campaign alongside fellow football legends Pele and Maradona.
