Why Lucas 'Rhoo' Radebe was immortalised

Widely considered to be one of South Africa's greatest exports, Lucas Radebe's elegance was not only demonstrated on the field, but his class extended far beyond the green grass.

A legend at Leeds in the United Kingdom and a revered icon in his native land, Radebe has had an illustrious international career where he became so big that he was invited to a long list of prestigious events and was essentially a brand of South Africa.
