The former Orlando Pirates star revealed on Monday that he and his wife were celebrating their anniversary as husband and wife. The pair have been together for quite a while, even during Mntambo's days with Jomo Cosmos.

After netting against Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership encounter on 20 August, the 33-year-old triggered some curiosity with his celebration as he took the ball and put it under his shirt, and stuck a thumb in his mouth.
Although we cannot confirm the exact reason for this sort of goal celebration, it is widely believed that when footballers do it, they are generally signalling that their significant other may be expecting a baby.
It may or may not be a hint, but nevertheless, Mntambo looks pretty much content about where he is in his life. It is quite understandable, though, because despite leaving the Bucs rather abruptly, he has managed to be the face of his new club.
He has been given a leading role in the side, having been appointed skipper even prior to his league debut for Babina Noko.
