With the Zulu King having recently been coronated, AmaZulu, unsurprisingly, are the first DStv Premiership club to have paid the King Misuzulu kaZwelithini a special visit.
The story
Thousands of people were gathered in celebration of the coronation of the Zulu King on 20 August 2022. Despite some controversies in the lead up to his crowning moment, with the announcement of Prince Buzabaz's nomination for the royal helm, King Misizulu reigned supreme, and eThekwini outfit Usuthi are delighted with the inauguration.
"WENA WENDLOVU, As Usuthu we are honored to have been able to pay a visit to Zulu King MisuZulu kaZwelithini at his Royal Palace in Phongolo yesterday (Monday, 29 August)," the club confirmed on Twitter.

The onfield success
While that visit was undeniably a joyous affair, Brendon Truter's side have a wonderful past couple of days having won their MTN8 quarter against Cape Town City in dramatic fashion on Sunday, thanks to an extra-time winner by striker Lehlohonolo Majoro.
The club also seems to have received a favourible draw for the semi-finals of the competition after avoiding reining champions of the cup Mamelodi Sundowns. Ususthu will face Kaizer Cheifs in the next round, an arguably easier fixture given Amakhosi's inconsistencies since the start of the new campaign.
