Etoile du Sahel will contest the CAF Super Cup against Champions League winners TP Mazembe on the weekend of 19-21 February 2016 after edging Pirates 2-1 on aggregate.
Majoro – who has almost been forgotten thanks to the form of Thamsanqa Gabuza and Kermit Erasmus up front – is feeling blue.
“I’m a little despondent because all our hard work has been undone at the final hurdle,” Majoro opens up on the club’s website.
“It hurts because I know how much it took for us to get here, but having said that, it still feels good that the team is getting into continental finals and representing itself and the country very well.
“People have taken notice of the country, and have seen that we can compete, and it means we are moving forward in the right way as a team. We will pick ourselves up from this and start again.
“We tried our level best and made the most of the opportunity but it was not meant to be,” he concludes philosophically.
