The Buccaneers went down 1-0 to Etoile du Sahel to lose 2-1 on aggregate and ‘Local is Lekker’ insists that Tinkler’s time is up.
“It is time for change, that’s my opinion,” he tells this website.
“I’m not judging him because he failed to win the Confederation Cup, but let’s face reality Pirates haven’t been doing well here at home. They were knocked out of the MTN8 [by Ajax] and Telkom Knockout [by Chiefs].

“Also, if you look at his line-up you always have to question his selection. For example, yesterday he started with Gift Motupa who has never started a game for Pirates. The boy is talented, but the fact is he hasn’t started games and to start him against Etoile was costly. He should have partnered Lehlohonolo Masalesa with Issa Sarr to allow the likes of Mpho Makola to go forward more.
"I just think Tinkler always makes some bad decisions and that has cost the team,” Sebola adds.
