The African football transfer record could be broken once again with Atletico Mineiro ready to bring Keno back to Brazil next season.
Keno arrived on the continent as part of the 'African revolution' in Egypt after Saudi Arabian billionaire Turki Al-Sheikh invested heavily in Al Assiouty Sport and renamed them Pyramids FC in 2018.
The former Al Ahly investor sanction a reported $10 million deal to bring the 30-year-old to North Africa from Brazilian Serie A club Palmeiras and excelled with 10 goals and 11 assists in his debut season.

However, after finishing in third position and widespread protests erupted around the nation about Al-Sheikh's involvement in the league - he was loaned out to Emarti giants Al Jazira the following season.
And after scoring two goals and registering five assists in 12 games in the UEA Gulf Pro League, the technically gifted attacker is set for a return to his homeland.
According to Brazilian publication Globo Esporte, Atletico Mineiro have shown interest in signing the player ahead of the start the new Brazilian Serie A season.

Globo reporter, Brenno Beretta has claimed Keno would rank as the highest-paid player in Brazil if he were to return to the country on his current salary.
