There were fears that Sundowns could face similar problems to Kaizer Chiefs after the latter failed to travel to Morocco last week to face Wydad Casablanca due to travel restrictions in that country.
The Brazilians are now set to jet out of the country for Algeria on Thursday soon after their DStv Premiership match against Baroka in Pretoria on Wednesday evening.
Sundowns official Yogesh Singh has also thanked the South African embassy in Algeria for assistance in securing the visas for his team travel to Algiers on Thursday.
"Yah the visas are sorted, it was sorted out last week. It was a long process. We had the assistance of our embassy in Algiers," Singh tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We communicated literally every single day for over two weeks until we got them over the line. The main thing is we got the required permission to fly and we got the visas for the team. We are flying on Thursday."
Sundowns beat Al Hilal of Sudan 2-0 in their first game of the CAF Champions League group stage in Tshwane on Saturday.
