Sundowns were due to travel to Algeria last week Thursday to face Belouizdad in Algiers but the trip was cancelled at the last minute due to travel restrictions owing to Covid-19.
However, CAF has since rescheduled the match between The Brazilians and the Algerians for Tanzania on Sunday (15h00).
Sundowns official Yogesh Singh has confirmed they are set to leave for Tanzania on Friday.
"No visas are required for South Africans travelling to Tanzania and so everything is sorted out in terms of our travelling arrangements. The team is leaving for Tanzania tomorrow," Singh tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"All the logistics are sorted out. Our advanced team has been in Tanzania for the past two days to make sure that everything is in place before the team's arrival tomorrow."
Sundowns are currently sitting on top of Group B with three points after beating Sudanese team Al Hilal at home a few weeks ago.
