Hlompho Kekana has opened up on Mamelodi Sundowns' reunion with coach Pitso Mosimane in their CAF Champions League encounter against Al Ahly.
Sundowns face a major test when they face Al Ahly in their Champions League quarter-final, with the first leg in Cairo scheduled for this Saturday.
The Brazilians are already in Egypt, where they are set to reunite with their former head coach, who already led the Red Devils to the continental crown last year.
For many this would seem a daunting task but Kekana believes there is no reason to fear their opponents, with many of Ahly's playing personnel similar to when they beat them 5-1 on aggregate in the 2019 quarter-final.
"I would say the only difference now is that Coach Pitso is there and they are now playing according to his philosophy that we know," Kekana recently told a limited number of reporters.
"So, the guys who worked with Coach Pitso before know and understand [how he likes to play], and I think that's the only difference now.
"If you look at the personnel they have, they still have the same players that they brought when we last played them, so we'll try to obviously play our normal game.
"It's not going to be easy, away from home it's going to be a mental game where we just have to make sure we match their hunger; we match their aggression, and I think we'll stand a chance."
